HGV DRIVER CAUGHT USING MOBILE PHONE

#VisibleLocalTrusted | Whilst on patrol today on the M6, near to Cannock, during peak rush hour, the Staffordshire Road Crime Team observed this HGV driver using their mobile phone. If that wasn't bad enough the vehicle was transporting dangerous goods.

Using a handheld mobile phone behind the wheel is illegal and extremely dangerous — particularly when driving an HGV. Even a momentary lapse in concentration can have catastrophic consequences.
